1932 Ford Deluxe Fordor Sedan
It was March 9th, 1932 before the first Ford V-8 engine was sucessully produced. By March 31st the dealers made their public introduction of the first mass-produced V-8 automobile in the industry. The "Deuce," as the '32 Ford was affectionately known as to the hop-up set - was so popular that most 1932 Fords restored today were once hotrods.
Such is the case for the van Aalst '32. Bernie has owned the car since 1970 and is only its 4th owner since new. It was hot-rodded by its 2nd owner but under Bernie's watch has been brought back to near original condition with the exception of a '37 85-horsepower engine, hydraulic brakes, and seatbelts (for the grand-kids).
